Here is the information I was able to find SO FAR from the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum (RMQM).
You can also go to their website and maybe contact them if you need more information.
The only thing I KNOW about this exhibit is that it is ONLY done every 2 years, below is what I got
from the website.

IIf YOU and any one else plans to attend/enter the exhibit let me know I would LOVE to see your
quilts in person, and more important I would love to meet my fellow quilters.

Yes, Louise is correct. The men's show is held approximately every other year. It is a juried show, but it is open to all men who quilt. If you would like to submit for the next show, email Irene Berry at the museum to be added to their email list of men quilters. Her email is Irene_B@rmqm.org. There will most likely be a notice going out in Spring of 2013 for the next show. Please let me know if you need any other information about the show. I have been participating in the previous four exhibits, along with Ricky Tims and many other notable (and not-so-notable!) male quilters. The more the merrier.

Permalink Reply by Mike Acuna on July 6, 2012 at 3:42pm David, can you define not-so-notable male quilters?

Permalink Reply by Louise on July 7, 2012 at 8:02am Mike - I think he may mean (not-so-notable) is that there are some "big"
names and NOT big names in the quilting world. Pretty much if your a
quilter you KNOW who Ricky Tims is, but there are other names that not
all of us will know by name.
I want to say that the "Male Call" quilt exhibit was BEYOND super awesome.
It was my first time going to the museum period, and I took my (first) quilting
friend and my oldest daughter with me we had a blast oohh and awwwing at
all the great quilts.
I took pictures of the quilts and have them on a random rotation as my desktop
background. I get so inspired looking at all the quilts again.
Can't wait for the next showing to see all the new quilts that go up on exhibit.

Permalink Reply by Mike Acuna on July 9, 2012 at 9:23am Thanks Louise! That helps clear things up. I've never attended but seems interesting enough for consideration in all aspects. I was beginning to think only certain indviduals are invited to attend and enter. Maybe when the opening for calls for entries comes in someone can clue us in.
