Quilting Book

It's official. I received a call from AQS Publishing that they have reviewed my propsal and will be publishing my book.  Now lots of work to finish the quilts and tie up loose ends! Stay tuned for a release date.

The entire front of the quilt is suede and leather.  Each of the eagle feathers on the outside is an individual "feather" with leather on both front and back and the 5 sides.   The backing is Kaska, a type of coat lining, and the batting is a double layer of Warm and Natural cotton batting.  The whole design was inspired by the canadian birds, their feathers or patterns of feathers.  If you want a better image of the quilt you can see it on my web page at www.joeeaston.net.   I think you might like a closer look.   Joe
