"I agree with Carl, Fons and Porter's technique is amazing. Takes a bit of doing the first time, but, once yu get the hang of it, you'll use it frequently. And it doesn't waste ANY fabric.  Give it a shot."

"You only really need to cut the binding on the bias if you have a rounded edge because bias cut binding is more flexible.  Other than that, bias cut on the straight of grain will work.  The reason why its suggested that binding be cut on…"
