Ok. Maybe this blog is more of vent, but I have just saved 2 quilt tops and 2 sets of orphan blocks and working on more.Can you believe that someone at a garage sale gave me a king size quilt top of bow ties, ALL HAND PIECED? Apparently his grandmother made them and he said, Take 'em I have no use for them. Don't throw that away!!! It's heartbreaking.

Wow. What a find to get those quilt tops & blocks. I can imagine how many have been thrown in the dumpster when someone cleans out a house. When her kids came to clean out the house, they filled 2 dumpsters with fabric and thread, didn't even try and sell any of it.
Glad you were able to make good use of the fabric.
