McCall's Quilt Design Star Contest VOTING ENDS TODAY SEPT. 8, for Challenge #2

Dear fellow 'ManQuilters'

All 15 submissions are in from the Challenge #2 Finalist for the McCall's Quilt Design Star Competition and voting has begun!

There is a lot of talent in this group of finalist!  But, I wanted to give a shout out to Carl and Stuart who did amazing entries for the first Challenge, it was a pleasure competing alongside such talent!!!  Unfortunately, to stay in it, it is all about the votes and telling everyone you know to vote, and so on!!! I am now the last man standing and I hope to move along into the finals.

 I would like to view my work as such, traditional methods with a modern aesthetic, clean, color conscious, not over designed, and designed to be used!  A happy marriage between traditional and modern! My entry is entitled 'PLUCKED' I hope you all enjoy, and would want to make one of your own! It is a great scrap buster, and fairly quick to put together :)  Below is the link to the voting site:

.....What was the challenge?

McCall's provided the Challenge 2 finalists with 10 Moda fat quarters, and gave them the following criteria for their Challenge 2 quilt tops:

* Must incorporate 8 or more of the 10 Moda fat quarters provided.

* Must have 50% (or more) of the quilt surface comprised of the fat quarters provided.
* Each of the chosen Moda prints must be identifiable in the design. There is no specific minimum size of each patch; each color must be identifiable in your uploaded picture.
* May not add more of the Moda fabrics provided. However, an unlimited number of additional different fabrics may be added.
